Meet a Frankfurt ACT Tutor: Susan P.

Susan P. was born in Stockholm, Sweden, and lived there for the first thirteen years of her life until her mother was offered an exciting job opportunity in Texas. An advanced reader from an early age, Susan loved books and read everything she could get her hands on. Susan hoped to establish herself as a professional editor, but she knew such an important position would start with the best undergraduate education possible. Susan participated in a classroom-style group prep course, and her hard work was rewarded with an impressively high ACT score. Susan chose to attend Purdue University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in English. She then completed a master's degree in education at Syracuse University before accepting a position with a well-known publishing house.

When Susan's husband accepted a new job in Frankfurt, she was happy to relocate, and she soon began offering online writing workshops for high school students preparing for college entrance exams, in addition to her continuing her editorial work, Susan soon joined the team at Manhattan Review, and students consistently praise her supportiveness and patience, filling her courses almost as soon as they are announced. When she isn't guiding future college students to their own test-taking success, Susan can be found visiting local bookstores and traveling with friends across Europe.
