Meet a Munich ACT Tutor: Lucinda M.
Lucinda M. was born in San Antonio, Texas, and lived there for the first eleven years of her life until her father was offered an exciting job opportunity in Massachusetts. An advanced reader from an early age, Lucinda loved books and read everything she could get her hands on in both English and Spanish. Lucinda hoped to establish herself as a professional editor, but she knew such a desirable position would start with obtaining the best undergraduate education possible. Lucinda participated in a classroom-style group prep course, and her hard-work was rewarded with an impressively high ACT score. Lucinda chose to attend Purdue University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in English, in addition to working as a peer tutor for four semesters. She then completed a master's degree in education at Penn State before accepting a position with a well-known publishing house.
When Lucinda's husband accepted a new job in Munich, she was excited to relocate, and she soon began offering online writing and grammar workshops for high school students seeking to prepare for college entrance exams, in addition to her continuing her editorial work. Lucinda soon joined the team at Manhattan Review, and students consistently praise her supportive and patient demeanor, filling her courses almost as soon as they are announced. When she isn't guiding future college students to their own test-taking success, Lucinda can be found visiting local bookstores and writing her first novel.
