Meet a Vienna ACT Tutor: Charlene K.
Charlene K. was born in Paris and lived there for the first twelve years of her life until her mother was offered an exciting job opportunity in San Francisco. Charlene fell in love with reading and writing at an early age and dreamed of one day becoming a journalist. She knew the first step towards making her dreams come true was obtaining the best undergraduate education possible. Charlene participated in a classroom-style group prep course, which she supplemented with a few private tutoring sessions, and her hard work was rewarded with an impressively high ACT score. Charlene chose to attend Princeton University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in English. She also completed a master's degree in education at Tufts University before accepting a position with a global news corporation as a journalist.
Charlene traveled all around the world for nearly ten years writing articles then decided to settle down in Vienna after getting married. She had worked as a tutor during college and with her background and experience, she was a perfect fit to join the team at Manhattan Review. Students consistently praise Charlene's supportive and caring personality, as well as her academic knowledge, filling her courses almost as soon as they are announced. When she isn't guiding future college students to their own test-taking success, Charlene can be found going to the symphony with her husband and swimming at her local sports club before work.
