I was most impressed with how efficient Vince was with everything, he came prepared and he knew what he was talking about. I liked the efficiency. I already came in with a good idea with what I needed to work on and Vince was great in attacking my weaknesses. I cannot think of anything I disliked or that he could improve about his teaching style.

Meet a New York GRE Tutor: Hugh S.
Hugh S. grew up in Dublin but moved to the United States for college. He obtained an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University and knew he wanted to pursue a career as an engineer. Hugh took preparing for the GRE very seriously and participated in a weekly online group prep course, which he supplemented with a few private tutoring sessions, ensuring he knew just what to expect on test day. Hugh's hard work was rewarded when he obtained a very high GRE score that earned him acceptance to MIT. After graduating with an advanced degree in engineering, Hugh was offered a position with an international organization specializing in biomedical research. The company had offices around the world, and Hugh was excited to have the chance to move to New York.
Hugh had done a significant amount of student teaching during his undergrad and graduate programs, and he missed working directly with students. When he learned Manhattan Review had an office in New York, he reached out about helping students prepare for the GRE, and we couldn't have been happier to welcome him to our team. When he isn't helping students excel on the GRE and gain their own admittance to world-class graduate programs, Hugh can be found going to off-Broadway plays with his boyfriend and searching for the best pizza in Brooklyn.
