Meet a New York IELTS Tutor: Hua M.

Hua M. grew up in Beijing, then moved to the United States for college. From an early age, she demonstrated an ear for learning languages. By the time she began her undergraduate education, she was fluent in four languages. She majored in language studies at Princeton University, where she also worked as a tutor for four semesters, helping others master challenging academic concepts in a variety of languages. After graduating from Princeton, Hua obtained a master's degree in linguistics, as well as a TESOL certificate, from the University of California at Los Angeles. She then happily accepted a job in the Southern California public school system, teaching Mandarin, as well as English to ESL learners.

After a few years, Hua was invited to teach English and Mandarin at a private university in New York. She was thrilled to relocate to the exciting city for a new adventure, and it wasn't long before she joined the team at Manhattan Review. Hua loves helping students master the English they need to excel on tests such as the TOEFL and IELTS.
