Meet a London Tutor: Ivy P.

Ivy P. grew up in London, then moved to the United States to attend college. Born into a family of professional educators, she knew she wanted to pursue a career as a teacher. Ivy majored in history at the University of California at Los Angeles, then went on to obtain a master's degree in education. After graduating, she accepted a position in the Los Angeles public school system, teaching history, language arts, and English to English-speaking and ESL students. Ivy received many well-deserved promotions, but as she moved into a managerial role, she began to miss the work she had done with students and hoped to return to the classroom. After a few years, Ivy was offered a position at an international school in London, and she was thrilled to return home. When Manhattan Review opened an office in the city, Ivy quickly joined the team as a professional instructor. 

Ivy has first-hand experience with a wide variety of standardized tests, and she knows how to help students master the content they need to ensure their own academic success.
