If you are not a native English speaker or English is not your first language, you will want to utilize the best TOEFL prep resources available to achieve the test-taking success you deserve. When it comes to preparing for a potentially life-changing test like the TOEFL, many students enjoy learning in the company of others. Other students, however, know they do not perform at their best when attempting to learn complex information in a group setting. Meet a Munich TOEFL Tutor: Krishna J.

Krishna J. was born in Hyderabad, India, and lived there for the first thirteen years of his life until his mother accepted a position with a large tech company in Silicon Valley. Krishna loved working with computers and quickly became skilled at developing his own app-based games and programs. Krishna worked very hard in high school and obtained an impressive ACT score, which allowed him to attend Brown University, where he majored in computer science. After graduating from Brown, Krishna went on to obtain a master's degree in computer science, as well as a TESOL certificate, from the University of California at San Diego. After graduating, he happily accepted a position with a large non-profit organization focused on improving access to technology in underserved areas around the world.

Krishna traveled the world for more than ten years, living in Thailand, India, Japan, and South Korea before eventually settling in Munich. While he enjoyed his work with computers, he also liked helping others learn, and he knew firsthand how important a strong grasp of the English language could be. Krishna soon joined the team at Manhattan Review, and his students appreciate his sense of humor, as well as his clear explanations. When Krishna isn't setting the next generation of college students up for their own academic successes, he can be found offering coding workshops for students and mountain biking.
