Meet a New York Tutor: Claudia K.

Claudia K. grew up in Los Angeles but moved to New York for college after she was accepted at New York University. Hoping to pursue a career as a teacher, she majored in mathematics at NYU. After graduating, she obtained a master's degree in education from Fordham University, then accepted a position in the New York public school system, teaching math, statistics, and pre-calculus. Claudia loved the work she did and received many well-deserved promotions. As she found herself in a more managerial role, Claudia began to miss the work she had done directly with students and hoped to return to the classroom. After a few years, Claudia was offered a position at a charter school in Brooklyn, and she quickly accepted. When Manhattan Review opened an office in the city, Claudia soon joined the team as a professional instructor. 

Claudia has first-hand experience with a wide variety of standardized tests, and she knows how to help students master the content they need to ensure their own academic success. Students love her positive attitude as much as her patience, and her courses fill up quickly.
