Meet a New York ACT Tutor: Luc B.
Luc B. was born in Paris and never pictured himself living anywhere else until he moved to the US for college. Luc hoped to one day become a professional educator like his mother and uncle. After obtaining a very high ACT score, Luc was accepted at New York University. While earning his undergraduate degree in mathematics, Luc worked part-time as a tutor in the Math Lab, helping others who did not enjoy working with numbers as much as he did. After graduating, Luc remained at NYU and obtained a master's degree in education. When he was offered a position as a math teacher at a respected international school in New York, Luc was thrilled to have a reason to stay in the city that had become his new home.
Luc loves any chance to work with students, and when he learned Manhattan Review had a local office in New York, he contacted us about helping students prepare for the ACT and other standardized tests, knowing firsthand the importance of a high test score when applying to college. Luc was quickly welcomed to the team, and his private tutoring students love his detail-oriented approach to test mastery, as well as his helpful study tips. When Luc isn't guiding future college students to their own ACT success, he can be found singing in a men's choir and playing basketball with friends.
