If you are not a native English speaker or English is not your first language, you will want to take advantage of the best TOEFL prep resources available to achieve the test-taking success you deserve. When it comes to preparing for a test as important as the TOEFL, many students enjoy learning in the company of others, finding their peers' questions or comments insightful and helpful. Other students, however, know they do not perform at their best when attempting to learn challenging information in a group setting. They worry about slowing the group down or holding them back because they need to work at a slower pace. Alternatively, these students may find themselves feeling bored or frustrated once they have mastered a subject but cannot move on until the rest of the group can demonstrate similar mastery. If you know you learn best through one-on-one instruction customized to your individual learning needs, consider working with one of the experienced private tutors at Manhattan Review.

Meet a Vienna TOEFL Tutor: Aarush P.
Aarush P. was born in Chennai, India, and lived there for the first ten years of his life until his family relocated to Silicon Valley for his mother's work. Aarush loved working with computers and quickly learned to code and develop simple programs. Aarush worked very hard in high school and obtained an impressive ACT score, which allowed him to attend Duke University, where he majored in computer science and worked four semesters as a science and engineering tutor. After graduating from Duke, Aarush went on to obtain a master's degree in computer science, as well as a TESOL certificate, from the University of California at Los Angeles. After graduating, he happily accepted a position as a software engineer with an international company.
Aarush traveled the world for several years, living in Hong Kong, Singapore, Latvia, and Italy before eventually settling in Vienna. While he enjoyed working with computers, he also loved helping others learn, and he knew firsthand how important a knowledge of the English language could be. Aarush soon joined the team at Manhattan Review, and his students rave about his clear explanations and calm demeanor. When Aarush isn't setting the next generation of college students up for their own successes, he can be found cycling on Danube Island with friends and going to the opera with his husband.
